The head-sommelier of Villa Retiro Group, Javier Campo, directs the winery of Xerta Restaurant and Restaurant Villa Retiro. It is in charge of restaurant equipment, making the customer not only taste the wonderful cuisine of Fran, but also accompany with appropriate wine pairings affinity and contrast, making the experience of eating at our restaurant in unforgettable .

Actively involved in the wine world, teaches at the Faculty of Oenology at the University Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona in its Professional Sommelier Grade, In addition to teaching occasional classes at the School of Agricultural Training Gandesa in its CFGM in Wines and at the School of Hotel and Tourism Institute of Cambrils in its CFGM Restoration Services. He collaborates with the digital magazine specializing in wine Vinetur, and in the journal The Luxonomist and Mediaset Spain among other means. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Journalists and Writers of Wine and representative for the province of Tarragona of the Catalan Association of Sommeliers.
